2M Group of Companies Expands Into the USA

The 2M Group of Companies, Surfachem's parent company, is delighted to announce its expansion to the USA with the creation of 2M Laurichem.

The 2M Group of Companies, UK, acquired the assets and business of Laurichem, USA, a company representing producers of specialty ingredient to producers of Cosmetics and Hygiene products markets in the USA Mid-West.

Laurichem was founded by Laura Moehlman who stays on as President of 2M Laurichem, supported by Shawn Murphy as Global Technical Director.

2M, which is headquartered in the UK is led by Chairman & CEO Mottie Kessler OBE and Dr Maggie Kessler OBE.

2M recently completed its Pan European expansion, acquiring Chemir in Barcelona in December 2022.

Mottie said: “I am excited that Laura and Shawn are joining our international team. We are focused on quality, knowledge and excellent team work. We add value along the supply chain to producers and consumers utilising our expertise and application laboratories. When we acquire a business, we work with the local team, helping to grow the brand and relationships they have created”.

2M’s Pan European team and 2M Laurichem will be present at In Cosmetics Europe engaging with customers and suppliers.
